Lesson 11 - Working with Arcs and Ellipse

Lesson Summary:

This lesson will give you practice in utilizing arcs and the ellipse command in your drawings.  There are many different ways to construct arcs in AutoCAD, but with some basic understanding of the construction methods, language and direction of construction, you can quickly master this useful command.  The ELLIPSE command give you several methods for construction but again, understating the method of construction and the language is critically important.

Learning Objectives: 

When you have completed this lesson, you will be able to:

  1. Use the ARC command to create arcs in a drawing.
  2. Use the ELLIPSE command to construct elliptical shapes and arcs from the length of their axis.
