Lesson 9 - Utilizing Polygons in your Drawings

Lesson Summary:

This lesson gives you practice in constructing polygons in your drawings.  In order to use the POLYGON command in AutoCAD, you must have a good understanding of steps used in the construction process and the language that AutoCAD uses to define each parameter.  Using the POLYGON command with ROTATE creates a varity of drawing options.

Learning Objectives: 

When you have completed this lesson, you will be able to:

  1. Use the POLYGON command to create equal-sided polygons in a drawing in AutocAD.
  2. Use the ROTATE command to rotate selected objects in a drawing. Rotate an object selected by its grips.
